2010 ONPHA Conference

1,268 housing providers from across Ontario attended the 2010 Annual conference at the Harbour Castle Hotel. By all measures the event was a great success thanks in large part to over 180 speakers and moderators, experts in their fields and stong advocates for the issues that affect affordable housing in Ontario.  80 different workshop topics- from the basics on Bed Bugs to the Future of Non-Non-profit Housing meant that there was truly something for everyone who attended.  The well-attended Trade Show featured over 80 booths and close to 200 exhibit staff there to answer your questions and present the latest in services and resources to help you manage your buildings.  Handouts from most of the session are available online for download.

Other highlights included the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, the Hon. Rick Bartolucci, addressing the attendees at the Opening Plenary. His speech was recorded and available for viewing online.  The Award presentations recognized the leaders in the non-profit housing sector in Ontario.
