HOW TO JOIN
ONPHA gives non profit-housing tools to do the best possible job.
ONPHA offers a comprehensive list of programs and services. We are
advocates for our members with all members of government; we deliver
courses, workshops and resources for volunteer boards, staff and
tenants; help members save money through our Best Deals program; work
toward building networks locally and provincially to ensure that
non-profit housing has a respected voice in the community; and we fight
to get more new affordable housing built in Ontario.
ONPHA has two types of
membership:
Regular
Members
Organizations which own and run non-profit housing can join ONPHA as
regular members:
- Municipal non-profit housing corporations and local housing
corporations
- Private non-profit housing corporations

Associate
Members
Individuals and organizations that support non-profit housing can
join ONPHA as associate members for an annual fee of $400. These
include:
- Corporations such as consulting firms, property management
companies, or suppliers
- Community agencies and other housing organizations and advocacy
groups
- An individual who supports non-profit housing

category allows for up to 2 municipal staff to access all of our
Associate Member benefits including member-only web resources, member
communications, publications and events.
Fees
ONPHA annual fees vary according to the size of the member
organization. Our variable fee scale is geared to give non-profit
housing providers the full benefits of ONPHA membership at prices they
can afford.
